Its mission is to connect the ever increasing ethnic groups in South Florida through cultural manifestations...music, art, theater and dance.<br /><br />Quarterly events are presented to the community showcasing local artists. The season's highlight is the yearly main event entitled ¨The Miami Mix¨ celebrating Black History Month and pays tribute to North and Latin American composers of African ancestory.<br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Arts on the Way</span> has featured entertainers from Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Venezuela, Panama, and Argentina who have all made South Florida their new home. The next Miami Mix, scheduled for February 25, 2007, will present two great Brazilian born artists: Rose Max and Ramatis, and the duo formed by Carlos i Marta who are originally from Cuba and The Canary Islands, respectively.
